The other day my boys insisted that I quit working for a few minutes (seven of them to be specific) and watch a show that they had recorded on the DVR.
“You know how to work the DVR?” I asked.
The show in question turned out to be one of the new vintage-looking Disney shorts that feature Mickey Mouse and his friends. The videos have been airing across the various Disney Channels for a few months, and I had already seen a few — and I had liked them.
However, “Mickey Mouse in Potatoland” took it up several notches. It wowed me.
Whether it is the nod to Disneyland or the clever gags that make “Mickey Mouse in Potatoland” so irresistible, I can’t say, but it is.
I need you to quit working for seven minutes and watch it:
