Not all shows have Pinterest profiles, but many do, and some of those are really knocking it out of the social media park. I’m partial to Parenthood, Community, Parks and Recreation, and the late, great, never-departed-because-Internet 30 Rock, but there are some good new ones popping up lately, too. Oh, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show! I love Ellen. I admit that the Pinterest boards for Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and Scandal got me more interested in watching the shows. Have you taken a look at Twitter and Facebook during Scandal? So much excitement about this show! Pinterest activity might be less immediately interactive, but it’s a really fun supplement to the real-time communication.
Likewise, I can see Pinterest potential for some shows whose boards haven’t quite taken off yet, but I won’t call them out. They’ll catch up, I’m confident.
Do you include Pinterest in your TV-watching habits? I know that people use social media platforms differently depending on the interest or hobby, and at first I wasn’t sure how it would work for television, but it turns out that it’s a lot of fun, now that I’m getting into it. Because I like to share, I’ve gathered up 25 TV shows that are rocking it on Pinterest, with some of the best boards that jumped out at me. Did I miss anyone?
