It’s not always a straight line, right? It looks like Ashley Judd and her estranged racecar driver husband Dario Franchitti are giving things another chance. The couple had announced their split in January after 11 years of marriage, which made me sad because I love her and always liked them together for some reason. Then, sadly, on October 6th, Dario was involved in a bad accident at the Grand Prix of Houston. Judd rushed to his side, and … well, it looks like it isn’t over.
Of course, Ashley and Dario aren’t the only celebrity couple who has given their relationship a second chance. See the other stars who took a break and reunited.

They certainly look glamorous together, don't they? After Dario's accident, during which he miraculously only suffered a broken right ankle, two fractured vertebrae, and a concussion, it looks like love has bloomed again. The day of and possibly en route to Dario, she tweeted: "Thank you for your prayers for @dariofranchitti I have only clothes on my back & the dogs but that's all that we need & we are on our way."

Katy Perry and John Mayer 2 of 10
Sometimes, taking a break is actually a positive. If you find your way back, maybe you're in a better place. AND you've got lots of great material to write about. Katy Perry recently revealed to Radio 1 that the lyrics to her power pop ballad "Roar" are actually about a temporary split with John Mayer, not her divorce from Russell Brand.
Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus 3 of 10
Miley Cyrus' parents, here on the red carpet with their younger daughter Noah, were heading for divorce, but called off their split in 2001. He told The View at the time, "I've dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together."
Pink and Carey Hart 4 of 10
Two years into their marriage, Pink confirmed on her blog that they were taking time apart. "Hi everybody," she wrote, "I wanted to reach out personally to all my fans/friends out there in the world... This breakup is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. I know it sounds like cliche bullish--, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be." Fast forward to today, and the happy couple is enjoying married life and their little girl, Willow.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick 6 of 10
These two have never tried to hide their ups and downs, and the rumors are pretty much constant. They've let the cameras roll while Kourtney and Mason were living in Miami apart from Scott. But still, after two kids, the couple is still making it work on their own terms -- and making must-see TV.
Prince William and Kate Middleton 7 of 10
It's certainly hard to imagine now, as everything about these two seems like it's straight out of a fairytale, but back in 2007, the couple took a break for a bit. They even addressed the split during a TV interview about their engagement. Said William, "We were both very young. It was at University. We were both finding ourselves as such and being different characters and stuff." Kate added, "I think at the time I wasn't very happy about it, but actually it made me a stronger person."
Justin Timerlake and Jessica Biel 8 of 10
After four years together, they split in March 2011, but by July they were seen together in Toronto looking like a couple. A few months later, Justin proposed over the holidays while they were on vacation in Wyoming. Their star-studded Italian wedding took place in October 2012.
Vanessa Lachey and Nick Lachey 9 of 10
They'd been dating three years when they called it quits in June of 2009. By August, they were spotted together around LA, and by October, Nick told Good Day Philadelphia, "I am happy in a relationship. I was single for a minute there, and then we've kind of patched things up." By November of 2010, they were planning a wedding.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green 10 of 10
This one is hard to imagine — when Megan and Brian got together for the first time in 2004, he was 30 and she was only 18! Two years later they were engaged but split in 2009. They couldn't stay away that long, however. In June of 2010, they married in Hawaii and are now expecting their second child together.
