When we last heard from Beck in 2008, he was dealing with some “Modern Guilt” and rocking some lovely long blond locks. Rolling Stone called Modern Guilt Beck’s ” midlife spiritual crisis” album as it is the first album where the artist ever mentions his thoughts on spirituality.
Beck’s newest offering is Morning Phase, to be released on February 25th, and his first single was “Blue Moon”
According to Rolling Stone the performer has been avoiding the spotlight for a while as he recovers from a spinal injury. “Now it’s improving, so I’m back in the music,” he said. “It was a long, long recovery. Lately, I concentrated on playing guitar. Do not think I can move again as before, although I can give a lot onstage.”
In the just-released video, Beck not only shares part of the sweet new “Blue Moon,” but the video actually showcases how the LP version of Morning Phase was created. If you have never seen this process, you must watch this — so cool!
