11 Classic Shows To Watch with Your Kids On NetflixKacy Faulconer
Netflix has launched a new landing page for families to help them manage the summer parenting task of watching TV.
Thank, Netflix. I knew you had my back.
This new destination was designed to meet family’s summer entertainment needs. Parents will find the iconic Netflix rows filled with trusted recommendations of popular family TV shows and movies, information on the best ways to stream, and videos about how other families use Netflix. Accessible from any computer or tablet, the Families page is available for both members and non-members.
I’m excited about this. It hasn’t always been easy to “search” through Netflix offerings, since you can’t search by rating. But the new Family Page creates lists organized by kid-friendly genres — such as superheroes and princesses. They even have a list called “Are We There Yet” which includes TV shows and movies ideal for watching on your tablet in the airport or car. Their “Shows for Curious Kids” list includes documentaries and science shows to help you feel like your kids are getting an education from TV. Smart!
I’ve been browsing through their lists and one of my favorite is “Classics to Share With Your Kids.” I bet you forgot about some of these shows your kids will love!
