Gwyneth Paltrow on Marriage: "No Couple is The Same"

Gwyneth Paltrow stops by the 'Apple Store' to talk about her new website 'Goop' in New York CityGwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have been married for a decade, but they’ve kept their relationship impressively private.

They’re rarely photographed together. They don’t comment too much on the other person’s work. So when the actress makes any statements or observations about married life, it’s natural to wonder … is she trying to tell us something?

In her new movie Thanks for Sharing, she is exploring a relationship with a recovering sex-addict, played by the always awesome Mark Ruffalo.

Gwyneth recently told the fashion website Refinery29 that in her mind, neither infidelity or sex addiction would be deal breakers in a relationship.

“I am an extremely open-minded person, so I think if it was something I knew I was getting myself into, I wouldn’t let it deter me from exploring the relationship.”

Interesting, right?

She went on to add, “I think that if the idea of being committed to someone is important to you, you begin to value certain parts of your social life over another. No couple is the same, and as such, every couple takes on different challenges.”

She also told Glamour UK back in June, “It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple.”
