Happy Birthday To President Obama! [Photos]

Barack Obama turns 51 this month. He leaves office in 2016, so these next few years as President will be important to the legacy he leaves behind. What will he be remembered for in the history books? Immigration reform? Environmental initiatives? Slow-jamming the news with Jimmy Fallon?

Who knows!

For me, Barack and Michelle have just seemed so much more accessible than previous presidential couples, because they moved into the White House right when social media was ramping up on all fronts. You can follow the President on Twitter and the First Lady on Instagram. The White House even has its own Flickr photo stream.

What fun to get a peek inside their everyday lives! Here’s a roundup of gorgeous photos from the Presidential photo stream on Flickr. I love to see the Obamas interacting with kids, and here you’ll see them getting high fives, harvesting veggies, and even holding babies. Enjoy!
