Jessica Simpson Says She Wants to Get Married Already ... Plus 7 Other Celebs Who Said "I Do" After Their Babies' Births

Jessica Simpson shows her growing baby bump as she carries her daughter Maxwell into a lunch date in Los AngelesWe’ve heard it before but the very pregnant singer/fashion mogul has announced that she really wants to marry baby daddy Eric Johnson ASAP after she gives birth to their baby boy.

Simpson’s set two wedding dates in the past. They both ended up being called off because of her pregnancy surprises. Or, as Simpson famously put it to Jay Leno, “We’ve had two wedding dates, but Eric keeps knocking me up!”

One scenario had them planning festivities in the backyard of their new 11,000 sq ft  house — which happens to be Ozzy Osbourne’s former house — in the Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.

As I see it, there are several pluses to a post-baby wedding. First of all, the couple’s two kids, Maxwell, 1, and her brother who may or may not be called Ace, can be a part of their big day. Think of the clothes! Can you imagine what sort of amazing get up Maxell will wear to sprinkle rose petals down the aisle?

Secondly, trying on wedding dresses is probably the best motivation for sticking to a healthy diet and workout plan to shed the baby weight.

Simpson is certainly not the only celebrity who has gone the non-traditional family planning route. In fact, it’s a pretty popular club. Here’s look other stars who opted to have babies first and marriage second:
