As if the N*SYNC reunion wasn’t diabolical enough, Justin Timberlake admitted in a recent interview that he would rather play a villain than a sidekick, with all due respect to sidekicks (see N*SYNC, above).
Hypothetically speaking, when the subject of Batman comes up (like it does), Timberlake scoffs at playing Robin to Affleck’s Batman.
“I ain’t playing Robin … Now, a villain! I’ll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funnily enough, is the Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain. The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I’m gonna play crazy, I’m wanna play proper crazy.”
The Riddler is Justin Timberlake’s favorite villain. Funnily enough, my husband and I dressed up like the Riddler and the Joker, respectively, last year for a costume party.
We haven’t seen the Riddler on film since Jim Carrey’s portrayal in 1995. Back then, Val Kilmer was the new Batman, and we didn’t have Twitter to express our views about it.
Where does J.T. weigh in on Affleck as the Dark Knight?
“I think he’s an extreme talent so he could surprise a lot of people.”
Riddle me this: Which super villain would you like to be?
