The Duchess of Cambridge looked gorgeous as she arrived at Westminster Abbey to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation. Kate showed that even in her final trimester, she still has what it takes in the style stakes. She chose to wear a dress and coat by one of her favourite designers, Jenny Packham. She accessorized by wearing a Jane Taylor hat, LK Bennett shoes and a small nude clutch.
The dress, a delicate daisy dress with silver ribbon detail, perfectly matched her soft peach jacket. She wore an amazing pair of earrings, reported to have been given to her as a wedding gift by her father-in-law Prince Charles. William arrived with his wife, no doubt counting down the weeks until their baby is due on July 13th!
Meanwhile, the Queen was accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, who has missed several royal engagements recently due to ill health. The ceremony was due to echo the 1953 coronation, 60 years ago, with several hymns and music from then being played again today.
Kate was seen laughing and joking with other members of the Royal family after the ceremony. This will be Kate’s penultimate public appearance before the birth of her first child. I’m sure Westminster Abbey brought back many happy memories for William and Kate, as they married there two years ago!
