Kim Kardashian Gets Fashion’s Seal of Approval!

It was only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian began to charm the fashion world after she began dating Kanye West.

Kanye, a known fashion fan, introduced Kim to the ultimate fashionista and ex-editor of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld.

In September Kim and Kanye were in Paris attending fashion week, and Kim was pictured with Carine at the Givenchy 2014 Spring/Summer show. It emerged that Carine had asked Kim to model for the front cover of Carine’s magazine when Kim was 8 months pregnant — cementing their friendship. But the ultimate cherry on the fashion cake came when Kim uploaded this picture yesterday:

Proudly sharing this black and white shot with her 18.8 million followers, Kim declared: ” I love my fashion icon carineroitfeld for wearing this tshirt!!!’  If you look closely, you’ll see the T-shirt features none other than Kim’s portrait from the October issue of Carine’s art magazine, CR Fashion Book.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was eight months pregnant when she was styled by Riccardo Tisci and photographed by Karl Lagerfeld — rocking a gold grill, nonetheless.

But according to Carine, Kim K. was no diva during the shoot. She told People,  “She was one of the easiest models I have ever worked with. [...] She’s not a model, but she was pregnant, you know, and I love pregnant women. Honestly, she was very, very nice. She made no demands at all.”

The fashionista also likened Kim to the iconic actress Marilyn Monroe. She told Time Out London:  “First of all she’s beautiful and in fashion, that is a talent you know. She was also a very sweet person, a hard worker. You don’t see her in parties drinking loads of alcohol. She’s controversial, but so was Marilyn Monroe and I always like controversial people. I hope the issue will be a good souvenir for her and her baby.’

Looks like Carine has got a souvenir of her own!
