Kim Kardashian to Reveal Post-Baby Bod on Kris Jenner’s Show

Kim Kardashian takes Kanye on a lunch date with her mom at Fred Segal in Los AngelesIf Kris Jenner really is the mastermind behind the success of the Kardashian empire it only makes sense that she would have thought of this one: Keep Kim away from prying paparazzi until she’s lost the baby weight. Then host the dramatic “reveal” on her new show later this summer.

It looks like that’s the plan according to Us Weekly and, frankly, mining her family for ratings “gets” is a win-win. Kris’ fledgling show gets the eyeballs and with mom as interviewer, Kim gets a safe place to break news.

Yes, I said “news” because, like it or not, anything Kardashian is big news.

You can bet Kim talking about how she was anxious to return to exercising after North was born or how breast-feeding made the pounds melt away (I’m just guessing, here) will give Kris a huge ratings spike.

We know that Kim was not pleased with the way her body changed during her pregnancy. My hope is even if she walks onto Kris’ set wearing an Herve Leger bandage dress and looking like the past 9 months were all a dream, that she’s honest about how hard she had to work to take it off.

Especially since snapping back like a rubberband seems to be the new status symbol. Malin Akerman posted a photo on Instagram of her 3-month old’s baby butt. Adorable, yes. And it just so happens she’s holding little Sebastian wearing a washboard stomach and the teensiest of bikinis. Were we not supposed to notice that?

Jenna Dewan-Tatum returned to the set of her new show The Witches of East End one month — one month! — after delivering daughter Everly. She looks gorgeous, as usual. But she also looks like the pregnancy never happened!

Good for Malin and Jenna — and Kim — if they happened to be so genetically blessed. But I hope new moms who may be stressing about their own post-pregnancy body keep in mind that Hollywood is, well, Hollywood.
