Two Apple Pro mice circa 2000, autographed by Apple co-founders Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. It may seem a bit unusual — look at that dirty cord! — unless you read the interview Kanye gave to The New York Times a few days before the release of his new album Yeezus and the birth of the couple’s baby girl, North.
In it, Kanye reveals (in the third person) the parallels he feels with the legendary Steve jobs.
“I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means,” he said, “I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of the Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period. By a long jump. I honestly feel that because Steve has passed, you know, it’s like when Biggie passed and Jay-Z was allowed to become Jay-Z… I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus.”
Wow. Sounds like a tricky guy to get a present for. Good luck at Christmas, Kim!
