Mick Jagger’s family is set to extend! The Rolling Stone rocker’s daughter Jade, aged 42, is expecting a baby in April.

The mom of two, announced her happy news on Twitter with a picture of her bump. She said: “Happy to announce this granny is going to become a mummy I’m 6 months pregnant xx double whammy this year.”

Her “double whammy” refers to the fact that her daughter Assisi, 21, is also pregnant and due in April! Assisi and her chef boyfriend Alex Key will be welcoming their first child in the spring. She previously told Hello magazine that she was ready to become a mom: “I grew up quite quickly and wouldn’t have considered having a child if I was doing what my friends are doing at this stage, messing around. I don’t drink, I don’t smoke and I’m very settled.”

Jade had her daughter Assisi when she was only 20 years old herself and went on to have another daughter Amba, who’s now 24, with her then-partner Piers Jackson. They split up in 1999.  In 2012 she married DJ and music festival promoter Adrian Fillary at Aynhoe Park, in Oxfordshire.

Great-granddad-to-be Mick, 70, already has seven children and four grandchildren, but when Assisi gives birth, the baby will be his first great-grandchild.

Mick has seven children from four relationships: daughter Karis (43) with model Marsha Hunt; Jade with former model Bianca Jagger; Elizabeth (29), James (28), Georgia (21), and Gabriel (16) with model Jerry Hall; and Lucas (14) from a fling with Brazilian TV presenter Luciana Gimenez.

Let’s hope his new great-grandchild has got the moves like Jagger!
