Mitt Romney Slow Jams the News with Jimmy Fallon — Our Day Is MadeKacy Faulconer
Aw, yeah! If hawking a Netflix documentary at Sundance isn’t too cool for Mitt Romney, than why shouldn’t he also try his hand at slow-jamming the news on the Jimmy Fallon Show?
President Obama, Brian Williams, and Chris Christie have all appeared in the bit with Jimmy Fallon. Why not Mitt?
Why not, indeed.
And so, here Mitt Romey sits behind Jimmy Fallon accompanied by the dulcet tones of the Roots, while he “slow jams the news,” and speculates about the president’s forthcoming State of the Union address. You have to give credit to a person who can take a joke with grace. When Jimmy brings up that ill-fated 47%, Romney responds gamely, “That’s a low blow. But, it’s pretty funny.”
Questlove gets in on the action, too. When Jimmy refers to Obama’s re-election they say, “Once you go black, you never go back.”
Welp. Now Mitt Romney has done everything.
