Savannah Guthrie came back to the Today Show from her weekend with some big news, squared: She married longtime boyfriend Mike Feldman over the weekend, and they’re expecting a baby.
Guthrie looked overjoyed as she shared the news alongside her co-hosts this morning. Her news ended up on social media with the hashtag #SavannahSurprises, with well-wishes coming in from all over the entertainment world, as well as from viewers and fans. Her co-workers surprised her with a toast (sparkling cider for the mom-to-be) and a sweet balloon drop.
“The best thing Mike said to you that night was…’Thank you for letting me love you,'” Hoda said on the broadcast, right after she brought out the cocktails. “Literally there wasn’t a dry eye except for Matt [Lauer].”
“That’s when my mascara really started running,” Guthrie said.
Guthrie’s Today Show co-hosts Al Roker, Hoda Kotb, Matt Lauer, and Carson Daly were among the guests at her wedding.
