Selena Gomez Is Going to Be a Big Sister

Selena Gomez is going to be a big sisterSelena Gomez wanted to share her love for her mother, Mandy Teefey, with the world yesterday. She tweeted a photo of herself hugging her mom with the message, “Hope all the amazing moms had a great day! I have the best momma in the world. I love you so much!”

It’s a beautiful photo of a mother and daughter. The photo is even more special when you realize just how much Selena’s mom has been through and how much Selena has been by her side.

In November of 2011 Selena told her fans that she was going to be a big sister, and then sadly Mandy suffered a miscarriage in December. Selena cancelled the rest of her holiday tour to be with her mother.

Selena later shared with her fans on Facebook and Twitter, “Belated Merry Christmas everybody. I can’t thank you enough for all of your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every one of you. I love you all so much and we hope you and your family had a beautiful Christmas!

“Love, Me, Momma, Brian and our guardian angel Scarlett. God bless.”

It’s wonderful to see that all looks well with Selena’s glowing Mom. We can’t wait to hear the news from Selena about the new arrival!

Being a new big sister isn’t the only thing that Selena is excited about this year. In August she will kick off a world tour called Stars Dance. She recently revealed her tour rider to MTV and it makes you wonder if her mother’s pregnancy cravings were a factor.

“Incense, pickles always…I don’t know. I actually have a boring rider. I’ll be honest… ramen. That’s what I have. I’m more about food and apparently incense.”

Congratulations to Selena and her family!
