Ted Dwane of Mumford & Sons Has Blood Clot on Surface of Brain

Ted Dwane of Mumford & Sons suffers from brain clotFans of Mumford & Sons in Dallas will have to wait for tonight’s show to be rescheduled as we have all just learned that Ted Dwane, the bassist for the super popular folk rock band, was rushed to the hospital yesterday.

According to a statement on the band’s website, “Our friend and bandmate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment. The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.”

The band was on tour promoting its album, Babel.

We wish Ted a complete and speedy recovery.

Until then, we will continue to listen to this on repeat.
