Every year, a very lucky young woman/man is named Miss/Mr. Golden Globe. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has one very important criteria in how they pick the “winner.” The honor goes to the daughter or son of a celebrity.
Generally Miss/Mr. Golden Globe has that one big star-filled night and then we don’t hear from them ever again. Such is the case for kids like: Kevin Costner’s daughter Lily Costner, Clint Eastwood’s daughter Kathryn Eastwood, or Carol Burnett’s daughter Erin Hamilton. But sometimes the young women or men with stars in their eyes will use the title as a launching pad for their own careers.
This year the Miss Golden Globes honor goes to Sosie Bacon, the daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedwick. And yes, the 21-year-old is an actress herself. But there is one thing that is making her nervous: walking in heels. On preparing for the big night, she told Parade: “I’m pretty much just practicing walking in heels. That’s the only thing I’m really doing right now because I’m not used to it. I’m terrible at it. I’m terrified to actually stand up there for three hours in high heels, but I think I’m doing a little better.”
