Twitter Stream Flooded with #LDSConf Tweets

If you were on Twitter this weekend you may have noticed that #LDSConf was trending. What the WHAT?

LDS Conference is a twice-a-year gathering of Mormons to hear advice from leaders. It’s broadcast on TV and the radio, and lots of Latter-day Saints stream it on the computer. Over the last few years, live-tweeting conference has become more and more popular, which is not surprising: Have you ever tried to stay awake in church?

So, what is #LDSConf about? Strange revelations pertaining to the peculiar beliefs of Mormons? Not so much. It’s mostly encouragement and advice about getting along in life and keeping your family together.

What, you’re not a Mormon? You didn’t have 8 hours to kill over the weekend listening to seniors in suits? You’re in luck because I am and I did! I even took notes. Here are your #LDSConf take-aways.
