How do you suppose designer and ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham spends her evenings? Hobnobbing at fancy hot spots and dining in swanky restaurants? The truth is somewhat more mundane. “Honestly, once the children are in bed I’d rather work or shove on a face pack and pluck my eyebrows,” revealed the 39-year-old Brit.
“By the time Brooklyn’s finally gone to bed, it’s all I’m fit for. Really, we’re much more normal than people think,” David Beckham’s wife of 14 years told Australian Vogue when she posed on the cover of the September issue.
Victoria goes on to talk about her husband, who hung up his professional football boots after an illustrious 20-year career. “We’re all so proud of David. Having supported him at clubs all over the world for the past 15 years, and seeing how he has been an inspiration not just to me and the children but also to millions of people, we are now just really excited at the prospect of spending more time as a family.”
On the cover, Victoria models a Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton dress from the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, which she previously wore at the Wimbledon Mens’ Final this year. The 300+ page September issue of Vogue is on stands on Monday August 19.
