Yes, You Can Win a Date with George Clooney for Just $10!

George Clooney attends the 'Gravity' premiere at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York CityYou know those “lists” that some couples often have —  the fantasy collection of celebrities that if they got a chance, they would get a “pass” to hook up with? My guess is — for women — that George Clooney would be on about 80% of those lists. He’s charming, funny, smart, kindhearted, oh, and he’s pretty handsome, too. And while the odds that you’d ever get the chance to hook up with this beloved movie star are pretty slim, you DO have the chance to go on a date with him for an investment of just $10!

Yes, this could be the BEST $10 you have ever spent. And even though only one person will win, it’s worth shelling out the cash since the money’s going to a very good cause. The proceeds from the raffle — via Omaze.com — will go to the Satellite Sentinel Project, whichas the Today Show notes, “works to prevent war crimes and crimes against humanity in Sudan, and also fights against the poaching of elephants.”

And this date won’t be a boring old dinner at some diner — it will be a totally glam night on the town. You and a friend (you’ll need a chaperone of course) will be flown to New York City and on Feb. 4th, you’ll go backstage at Late Show with David Letterman, you’ll walk the red carpet with Clooney at the premiere of Monuments Men, and then you’ll go to the after party with George. It will be a night you will NEVER forget.

Clooney is known for his humanitarian work as much as his onscreen action. He has been bringing attention to the troubles in the Sudan for years, doing a TV special with his dad called A Journey to Darfur in 2006, narrating the documentary Sand and Sorrow, and being named a messenger of peace by the United Nations in 2008.

This really could very be the best $10 investment — ever.

The last day to enter the contest is January 31st, and you can get all the details on how to enter for your chance to win the best date ever right here.
