The Dwight Schrute costume is cute, but why would any little boy want to wear that costume? I doubt any preschoolers are watching The Office–at least I hope not! Shouldn’t a kid wear something that would be fun for him (or her) unless you’re talking about a baby too young to understand Halloween. My three-year-old is going to be Ladybug Girl for Halloween.

    Brilliant. Hilarious!

That Dwight costume is AWESOME! My kid isn’t old enough to know what it’s all about yet and I’ll be really pushing it to get him wearing any hats or accessories that most costumes need to be fun. Right now, it’s all about whatever entertains me. I was set on Elvis, but this may be something to think about.

For those interested in my dino tail tutorial, the link provided here is wrong. You can find my full tutorial here on my blog: http://projectsbyjess.blogspot.com/2011/03/dinosaur-tails.html

Hi Jessica! Thanks for pointing that out! We discovered your awesome costume through Pinterest and it seems as though someone used the wrong link there. All is fixed now! We love your idea!!!

Wow, I think the three-armed baby is in bad taste.

  7. Elizabeth in Chicago says:

I remember when that Dwight costume first came about (it was a few years ago, I think?), and, if I remember correctly, the child is actually a girl. So that makes me love it, personally, all the more.

  8. Amber says:

I know who the couple is who did the Dwight Schrute costume, and yes, it was their daughter. Just look at the shoes for confirmation, or better yet, here is the original source:
