I have that one shoulder suit from J.Crew, and I love everything about it except the shelf bra. I wish it had a soft cup for extra support and coverage (I’m trying to add one), but it is FANTASTIC for I-have-birthed-four-babies camouflage.

  2. Heather says:

Some cute bathing suits – but would it be so hard to show them on a model who looks like she might actually *have* a post-baby body?

  3. Katrina says:

What about for women with post-baby boobs? I am a breastfeeding FF and there is no way I am fitting into any of those suits.

  4. Tamara says:

I agree wholeheartedly with Heather. If you are trying to advertise clothes for a post baby body why not use a model who looks like she has some of the charactaristics of a post baby body. Are our post baby bodies so terrible you cannot use them to sell us something specifically this new body we find ourselves with?

  5. Annie says:

Woa, everybody! Wait a second! I hear what you’re saying about the ‘post-baby body’ model blues. But in fairness to the author of this post, I’m guessing that she found these suits from the manufactures’ sites . . . and really doesn’t have a budget to buy the suits herself and then to hire post-baby-body models to wear them for a photo shoot for this quick post.
Yes! Yes!! YES! Our entire media needs to get real about the bodies they use to sell their products to us. But let’s not blast this writer about the problem.
I’m excited she ‘dug up’ that cute floral number for me! Can’t wait to try to squeeze my wonderfully less-than-perfect body into it’s beautiful-ness!!
Thanks for that JORDANFERNEY, whoever you are, wherever you are!

i dodged the bullet with baby no. 1, but wasn’t so lucky the second time. i like the idea of high-waisted bottoms, but they don’t really work with my torso. yep, it’s time for a one-piece.
