Caz from Little Learning for Two came up with this genius idea. First the crib's side was removed, then two thick sheets of MDF were used to cover the mattress base, which was then painted in chalkboard paint. Lastly, some inexpensive hooks, cups and supplies turned this crib into the perfect craft area.

    we turned my daughter’s crib into baby gates that block off the kitchen. we used a side piece as a gate for her doorway at night.

    I’ve used my sons crib 4 a baby gate and drying rack and just thuoght about a quilt rack then i signed on here to see that same idea works and looks great.
