Used to be when I thought of contact paper I thought of the faded, grungy stuff that was yellowing around the edges and seemingly permanently adhered to the kitchen drawers of my college apartment. (Which in and of itself was a thing of beauty, let me tell ya.) But now? Now when I think of contact paper I think colorful, cool and totally hip. Talk about a 180! The thing is, contact paper now comes in more colors and patterns than ever before, many of which are quite fashionable. Applied to the back of your kitchen cabinets or gracing the front of an old refrigerator as a spray of polka dots, contact paper is now far more cool than drool. (Do you see what I did there? Yup.)
