10 Ways To Make Your Child’s Birthday Party Memorable

My son’s birthday is coming up fast so I have kids parties on the brain. I want to throw a super fun but laid back party with all of the right elements but without going over the top. I don’t want to be one of those parents. Sounds a little easier said than done, right? Over the years of blogging primarily about parties, I have come up with a list of a few things that will make for a perfect party. In the instance of a kids party, they might need to be modified slightly. Along with the normal stuff like a great food table, balloons and streamers, there are a few things that you might not think of for your kid’s party. And when it is your child’s party, you want it to be as memorable as possible, right? Right. Here is a round up of ten ways to make sure your child’s birthday party is nothing short of memorable. Heck, it might even end up being the perfect party. You’re welcome!

Just because it's a kids party doesn't mean you have to have tacky or too many decorations. This giant cross stitch number would be perfect for a kiddos big day. I have a soft spot for peg board and all things oversized. So yeah, I will definitely be doing this soon.

In my humble opinion, the invites are one of the most important parts of the party. That and the cake of course. Your invites set the stage for the party! If the invites are fun and unique, the kids will be even more stoked to come to the party.

I'm not sure if it is just me, but it seems like the wrapping on a gift is sometimes just as interesting to the child as the gift itself. So why not make it super fun with something like this shake it wrap? My guess is you will have a hard time getting them to open the gift.
