    Cute ideas here.

Just saw a really great Mary Poppins costume on Make It and Love It.

  2. jessica says:

I wish you hadn’t included the racist “Native” costume, but the other 19 are very cool.

  3. Kersey says:

    LOVE Mr. & Mrs. Fox!

  4. Courtney says:

Wow, native? That’s contrived at best and racist at worst.

  5. T says:

Native? Really? Wow! Offensive much? Come on, people, we’re living in the 21st century – we know better by now. The rest of the costumes are great though.

  6. Timmi says:

The power couple is hilarious! I love the Fox’s too!

  7. jordanferney says:

Wait, why is this racist to dress up in this “Native” costume? Were you all assuming it was a Native American Costume? I assumed it was some ancient wild tribe (since it resembles no traditional Native American wear I’ve ever see) and I thought it was a really clever execution.

  8. Michelle A says:

love the cloud one, so adorable

  9. Sarah says:

ummm…usually love these posts but “the native?” unacceptable.

  10. Michelle says:

In agreement about the racist/icky-vibes of the Native costume. Please leave them out.

  11. Emthe says:

I don’t cry about it when people who aren’t Scottish dress up in kilts for Halloween. If you’re thinking that’s because my culture has nothing to nothing to cry about, think again. Stolen lands, mass genocide, broken treaties, stripped of language, costume and culture… my ancestors were on the losing end of things with the English. I can’t think of one Scott who doesn’t appreciate the effort of someone who appreciates our culture as much as we do and chooses to be one of us on the night when you can be whomever you want.
