5 Rocking Chairs That Combine Comfort and StyleMelanie Blodgett
For some reason, rocking chairs tend to be on the ugly side of things. Why, you ask? Good question. I see no reason for it, but I have a husband and a son who love to rock. So I am on a quest to find a rocking chair that I don’t hate to look at. While most are ugly beyond all reason, surprisingly, I’ve managed to find some that aren’t hideous! There are some modern ones that will look sleek and clean in your space and others that are bigger, more comfortable, and sure to be loved by the whole family. Maybe you’re looking for a rocking chair for your nursery to use for late night feedings, or perhaps you’re like my husband, and you want a rocking chair to sit in while reading. No matter what you plan to use your new rocking chair for, I am sure you want one that doesn’t serve as an eyesore! Here are four great rocking chairs that will work with most decor styles.
Eames Knock Off 1 of 5
We all know and love the Eames chair design. This rocking chair is a great knock off at an awesome price. I love the metal legs and the wooden rockers. It's perfect for a modern home.
Get it here for $88 from Amazon.
Comfy 2 of 5
If you are looking for an attractive rocker that's also comfortable, this one might be for you. The wood is beautiful, isn't it? This would be the perfect cozy rocker to nurse in.
Get it here for $995 from Land of Nod.
Sleek And Cool 3 of 5
This one... this is my dream rocking chair. It's gorgeous and the cushions look pretty darn comfortable. I love the grey on wood. So pretty!
Bright And Blue 4 of 5
The blue is very bold, so it would need to go in a room that could use a little pop of color, but I love it. The white and the wood is perfect. And the simple design is so versatile.
Pink Grid 5 of 5
Admittedly, this rocking chair might not be the most comfortable, but it sure does look nice. The cushion is removable, but I would probably cover it with some fun polka dot or stripe fabric. Just to mix things up. I love the bright pink color. So fun!
