I’ve been pondering a new sofa for a while now. My sofa still has some life in it (we’ve had it for seven years, but it’s holding up to the two kids, one dog, and three cats just fine), but it’s always fun to daydream about new furniture, right?
The new collections from Room and Board, West Elm and CB2 each have some curvy, colorful options that make me want to change things up right away. The Murphy sofa, above, is far and away my favorite (please be mine, Murphy), but the others below are pretty fantastic too.
Van Buren Sofa 1 of 5The blandest of the bunch, but it's livened up by clean lines, sexy legs, and a fun back that allows it to float in a space.
Available at Thrive Furniture, $2500 setting
Murphy Sofa 2 of 5This one will be mine. Someday. Now I just have to choose a color (gold, blossom, emerald ...).
Available at Room and Board, $1400
Nixon Sofa 3 of 5Well hello there, dark and handsome.
Available at Thrive Furniture, $1900
Everett 4 of 5Petite with plenty of style, and available in this navy velvet or leather.
Available at West Elm, $900
Avec Apartment Sofa 5 of 5Not your average small scale sofa, this one brings plenty of style with it's high, tufted back and arms. Cozy and bright.
Available at CB2, $1200
