5 Fun New Sofas

By Nicole Balch |

I’ve been pondering a new sofa for a while now. My sofa still has some life in it (we’ve had it for seven years, but it’s holding up to the two kids, one dog, and three cats just fine), but it’s always fun to daydream about new furniture, right?

The new collections from Room and Board, West Elm and CB2 each have some curvy, colorful options that make me want to change things up right away. The Murphy sofa, above, is far and away my favorite (please be mine, Murphy), but the others below are pretty fantastic too.

Van Buren Sofa

The blandest of the bunch, but it's livened up by clean lines, sexy legs, and a fun back that allows it to float in a space.
Available at Thrive Furniture, $2500 setting

  1. I admit that I share your taste in sofa. I love Murphy sofa in emerald green! Fits well with my wall color (egg shell).
