5 Must-Try Natural Homemade Cleaning Solutions

I am a huge fan of making your own stuff. Generally speaking I tend to make a lot more things for my home than I buy. But something I haven’t dabbled in too much is making my own cleaning solutions. I have semi-recently discovered a whole world on the Internet of simple DIY recipes for cleaning solutions for pretty much every room of the house. There is even an all-purpose cleaner! But just in case you don’t want to use that on every single thing in your home that needs cleaning, there are lots of other cleaning solutions to choose from.

From your garbage disposal (and yes, you should be cleaning it!) to your bath tub, there is a natural homemade cleaner waiting to be made, used, and loved! I am super excited to try all of these out and see the difference in both the cleaning ability and the overall experience. Let’s face it, a lot of cleaners out there can make you light headed and sick feeling after just a few minutes of cleaning with it. You won’t have to worry about that with these! You also won’t have to worry about your kids getting ahold of most of them either. All-natural means safe for everyone! Here are 5 must-try homemade cleaning solutions for your home.

I feel like I am constantly running out of our store-bought dusting spray, so yeah — I am pretty excited to try this out! Believe it or not, it's made of only three ingredients. This DIY spray is crazy easy to make and such a money-saver, too!

Salt? Yes. Grapefruit? Yes! I haven't tried this but you better believe I am going to as soon as possible. The salt acts as a scrub and the grapefruit, if you can keep yourself from eating it first, acts as a super-cleaner because of the acid in it. I can't wait to try it out!

Don't you just love a great all-purpose cleaner? It gets just about every job done with one single cleaning solution. I love it! This one has uses an acidic fruit — but this time it's lemons. There is a reason a lot of cleaners are lemon-scented people! Lemons clean!
