I have never been accused of being a morning person. In fact, I would go so far as to say I am the direct opposite of a morning person. I detest being woken up. I prefer to wake up naturally, like a little quiet as I fully become a human and I definitely move slowly.
This means I am fodder for mocking by my family.
My husband and children, on the other hand, are ALL morning people. They literally bounce out of bed happy. They are the non-cartoon version of Snow White – the only thing missing are the animals and small birds chirping with them as they hurry down the stairs in to the kitchen.
But knowing this about myself means I have to work at having beautiful and productive mornings – because I truly want to have mornings like that.
