Full disclosure: I am not a parent. I am an aunt of 5 and babysitter to 3. My eldest nephew is 16 and my youngest niece is 11 months. Basically there isn’t an age range I haven’t been exposed to. No, I have not had to wake up for feedings, but I have had to wake up on weekends at 7am while babysitting or visiting my family because that’s when tots think it’s go time. And you know what saves me (and the kids from my wrath)? Coffee.
Here’s the thing about coffee though, as any coffee drinker knows, it’s not the same wherever you go. My parents make it too weak. My brothers make it too strong. Sometimes there’s even the (criminal) mixing of the decaf with caffeinated. Which brings me to the Keurig. This machine (pictured above and below) makes any type of coffee you want. It also makes cider, hot chocolate…I mean it almost makes you waffles. (But who can think about food until you’ve had your coffee?) So why is this fancy machine worth the dinero? Here are 7 reasons why, if you can afford it, you won’t regret your purchase.
