9 Cleaning Hacks You'll Wish You Knew Sooner

Over the years, I have become more and more aware of the harmful chemicals that are put into the cleaning supplies we buy in stores. Some companies are getting their acts together by making safer greener cleaners, but like many things in life, sometimes it’s best if you just do it yourself. Enter: cleaning hacks! There are some seriously amazing DIY cleaners that are easy, cheap, and so much better than what you can buy in stores. I have an ongoing list of cleaning hacks I am dying to try — so much, in fact, that I have seriously considered letting my son walk all over our black and white rug with his muddy shoes at one point. (Crazy, right?) And while I was skeptical of some of these, I ended up getting proven wrong. In fact, some actually work even better than expected!
