A Great Looking Way to Store Dressups

Dress-up is one the favorite things to do for the kids at my house, but it always seems that the dressups end up in a knotted pile on the floor. So when I saw this clever way to organize dress-up clothes I had to share asap. Jessica created this by building a wooden rack just her daughter’s size. You can make your own by following her helpful directions.

I love that it turns what could potentially be an eye sore into a lovely display that would be a great addition to any play room. You can see a close up shot below.

Thanks for the feature! Glad you like the storage-it still works great for us!

  3. Jessica says:

Great idea! My kids love to dress up, but it is a major mess just tossed in a basket. This is a perfect project. Thanks for sharing it!!

I love this, however, for some reason I still think ours would ended up in a knotted mess on the floor. My little ones haven’t mastered the ‘art’ of hanging up clothes.

  5. Becca says:

It is lovely, but hanging up their dress-ups just seems like one more chore for my kids. Right now they’re 2 and almost 4, so maybe when they’re a little older, and hanging clothes is a little easier for them to do by themselves.
