7 Awesome Books For Toddlers

As a mom, I am pretty picky about the books I buy to read to my son and I am sure there are lots of us out there! A great story, funny and cute, and of course it needs amazing illustrations. Here are some amazing books that fit the bill. At least in my opinion.

A classic and I love it. You have to love a book that sparks imagination.

  • Stuck 4 of 8
    books 03

We have this book and it's a family fave. Oliver Jeffers is a genius!

  • Spoon 5 of 8
    book 04

The illustrations are just too cute. And the story is heart warming and all kids need to read it.

  • Little Pea, Little Hoot and Little Oink 6 of 8
    books 05

Each book has a funny story that toddlers will get a kick out of. A pea eating candy for dinner and hating it, but the reward? Spinach for dessert! Reverse psychology at its best.

Get it here for $14.39 on Amazon.

  • Fancy Nancy 7 of 8
    books 06

I don't really relate to this book like most do. It's just too...fancy. But I took a children's writing class once and this was the perfect model  we were given to emulate. So yeah.

Get it here for $18.53 on Amazon.

  • Cowboy & Octopus 8 of 8
    books 07

This is the perfect book for parents who only have a few minutes to read a story before bedtime. There are several mini-stories in this book. Each as quirky and funny as the next!

Get it here for $12.47 on Amazon.
