We’ve been using a double stroller since my second child was born a year ago. But my oldest is almost 3.5 years old and is a pretty good walker so we’ve decided to phase back to the single stroller. Today I bought a stripey Maclaren without doing a bit of research. Why am I so confident in my purchase? Keep reading to see why.
It is a joke amoung my friends who raise kids in the city that with a newborn everyone buys an expensive fancy stroller then a few months later they all buy a Maclaren. It’s becaue they are light weight, pretty affordable, fold up small, and they recline (perfect for naps.) Lugging heavy strollers around on buses is not fun and any extra weight no matter how fashionable is thrown out the window. We love our stroller so far and took a few jaunts around the city today to test it out.
Did you buy a Maclaren as a second stroller? What do you think the best stroller is for living in the city?
