Best Toddler Bed: Moda Crib-to-Toddler Bed

MODA Convertible Crib/Toddler Bed

The stylish MODA is a great convertible toddler bed option. As with all Room & Board products, the quality is exceptional and the customer service is unmatchable; on the phone, in store, online and at delivery. At $999.00 for the crib plus $99.00 for the toddler rail, it is not exactly a low-budget option, but the hit is easier to take when spread out over the baby and toddler years, or, in this reviewer’s case, over three babies!

When the crib arrives, it is assembled on site by the delivery team from Room&Board but it is also easy to disassemble and reassemble on your own. Additionally, it is relatively simple for one person to adjust the mattress height to any of the three levels as baby grows. Once you are ready to turn your crib into a toddler bed, it is an easy switch. Unlike other convertible options, the MODA looks as beautiful as a toddler bed as it does as a crib. (The dressers in the MODA line are also nicely designed and can easily stay in a child’s room through high school and beyond.)

The MODA crib/toddler bed is carried in stock with maple side slats in white, natural and mocha but is also available for custom order in eight additional colors at no additional charge. You can have fun customizing the perfect bed for your little one! The two complaints we have heard is that the paint can chip easily if care is not taken and that it is quite heavy.

If you are looking for a beautiful and high-quality convertible crib to toddler bed and are willing to make an investment, the MODA is a perfect option.
