Pantone Fashion Color Report 2013 - Wares + Wear from

This time every year design and style junkies (myself included) look forward to Pantone’s fashion color report. Pantone is the color authority. Their predictions on upcoming color trends set the tone for everything from fashion and accessories to home decor and even event design. Last year’s prediction pegging Tangerine Tango as the color of the year for 2012? It was totally spot on. This bold citrusy hue was positively everywhere this year. The Pantone Fashion Color Report for 2013 is loaded with ten, jewel-toned and fruity colors that you’re sure to see a lot of in the coming months. My personal favorite? Monaco Blue. It falls somewhere between a navy and cobalt, and was definitely a color I expected to make this year’s list. Look forward to cozy cashmere sweaters and throw pillows in graphic patterns boasting this pretty color. Want to get a jump start on the latest color trends? I’ve rounded up pretty wares (for home) and lovely things to wear (for you) in each of Pantone’s 10 shades for 2013. Channel your inner trendsetter and rock one or a few of your favorites this fall!

Monaco Blue: Wares

I love the preppy stripes of this bedding. It's perfect for any bedroom in the house and would love great paired with patterned throw pillows!
