Cool Airstream Pop-Up Shop!

Laurie Furber, the founder of Greenhouse Design Studio, is planning a road trip through the Southwest this spring, towing an Airsteam filled with Greenhouse goodies, and setting up pop-up shops along the way, at spots like the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, the Bunkhouse Hotels in Marfa and Austin, Texas. A great way to recognize Earth Day this month which falls on the 22nd of April – same day as the tour kicks off.  (They’ll be making a donation to the Carbon Fund to offset their trip.) See some of the things that will be for sale below – which are also for sale online (along with the tour schedule).

About:

“Greenhouse Design Studio offers ways to make your home more eco-friendly from all angles: a networking space to connect with green resources (building, painting, cleaning, etc.), an editorial section with great ideas and inspiration from a wide range of design tastemakers, and an online shop filled with gorgeous pieces, many of them vintage finds from founder Laurie Furber’s (a former Pottery Barn VP) trips to flea markets across Europe and America. Other items like beautiful soaps and reclaimed wood platters are sustainably produced or made in the United States. Vintage china and French jam jars, beautiful organic bed linens, soy candles hand-poured in Weck jars, and vintage oyster baskets are a few of the things you might find on the site.”
