Little kids are attracted to cars from the first time they hear the jangle of your keys, so whether it’s a classic red-and-yellow Little Tikes coupe or a vroooming Power Wheels, many kids get their first set of wheels before the toddler years are over.
Well prepare to be the coolest gift giver ever, because every other toy car will look lame in comparison to these retro-looking Warehouse 36 pedal cars, now on sale at Gilt Groupe.

This 1936 Pink Roadster is licensed by Ford Motor Company to recreate the “Deuce Coupe.” Not only does it have a retro frame (including real hood louvers), but your little one can pedal around the neighborhood, storing things in her trunk as she goes. Normally this car sells for $249, but until tomorrow at 9 p.m. you can get it for $150. (Roughly the same price as a Power Wheels, yet infinitely cooler.)
Also remember that Gilt Groupe gives Babble readers instant access to the sales by clicking this link. (The sale can be found under Gilt Children.)
How cool is this police cruiser? It even comes with a working red light! Originally $259, you can now get it for $155 here.
Yes, there’s even a 1932 Tow Truck! This one is licensed by Ford Motor Company as well, featuring historically accurate decals, a working tailgate and a hand-cranked lift hook. Like the police cruiser, this one is currently selling for $155.
Gilt Groupe also has a couple of Mustang pedal cars (built from the original AMF tooling) that unfortunately just sold out for $160 a piece. However, you can be put on a wait list and notified when it’s available by clicking here.
The sale is only lasting until Sunday, September 26 at 9 p.m. on Gilt.
