Did You Know President Obama Wrote A Children's Book?

Already the best-selling author of international best-sellers “Dreams from My Father” and “The Audacity of Hope,” President Obama has extended his literary talents to children, while teaching them values and history. Before President Barack Obama took office in 2009, he wrote a this book, but it wasn’t published until now. Last Tuesday (November 15), 500,000 copies hit book stores nationwide!

Inspired by First daughters Sasha and Malia, “Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters,” is a beautiful and poetic tribute to 13 groundbreaking Americans and how their ideals have shaped our nation. The girls even make an appearance on the cover with their dog Bo! Loren Long, the illustrator for Madonna’s 2003 children’s book, “Mr. Peabody’s Apples,” has included her touching illustrations throughout the book.
