DIY: A Chalkboard Emergency Contact List

By Liz Stanley |

An emergency contact list doesn’t have to be a boring piece of paper tacked to your bulletin board. Just because it’s practical, doesn’t mean you can’t make it pretty!

Keep reading to see my method to make this attractive chalkboard emergency contact sheet!

1. Black contact paper is perfect for a versatile chalkboard that can be any shape and stick to virtually any surface. Cut a piece to fit inside the door of your cupboard, or wherever you can find it quickly.

2. Keep the paper backing on and decorate it any way you’d like. I chose gluing rick rack along the edges and making a simple bunting banner with string and small pieces of paper.

3. Peel off the paper backing and stick to the inside of your cupboard. You can erase with a slightly damp towel to add new contact numbers or grocery reminders.
