Celebrate Spring with These DIY Felt Flower Poufs!

In honor of spring blooms, I have a tutorial today for how to make DIY felt flower poufs. These literally take about five minutes to make and can be used to decorate clothes, accessories and wreaths, or you can even put a few in a vase. All you need is a piece of felt and a hot glue gun. Ready to get started?

Check out the DIY felt flower pouf tutorial here…

Cut a strip of felt to your desired size and length. I made this one 2 x 10 inches.

  • Step 2: Fold 3 of 8

Fold your fabric in half lengthwise.

  • Step 3: Cut 4 of 8

Cut little slits on the fold that go about 1/3 of the way down. These will turn into petals.

  • Step 4: Roll 5 of 8

Roll your fabric starting from one end.

  • Step 5: Glue 6 of 8

Glue the felt down as you go so that it doesn't come undone.

  • Step 6: Done! 7 of 8

Hot glue the last end down and you have your flower.

  • Step 7: Attach 8 of 8

I attached mine to a felt flower headband with hot glue.
