Etsy Picks: A handmade doll for children to love

etsy doll

If your child enjoys playing with dolls, they’ll love the sweet creations of Etsy seller My Lieschen Mueller, with their delicate blend of animal creatures with human-like features.  Not only do they have sweet faces, but you’ll love the stylish outfits and quirky personalities that accompany the handmade dolls.

My Lieschen Mueller is the product of German teacher/designer Anneliese Mueller.  She is a mother of two, and creates original designed goods that capture the beauty of handmade work and the innocence of childhood.  She creates darling sketches for each doll which are soon transformed into a fiber masterpiece, down to every simple detail.  They really make you want to get to know them!

Karl is a shy stallion horse with a very loving side.  He loves fashion (as illustrated by his awesome coat!) and can never hold a grudge.

Edana is a fiery cat, with a love for spicy food and licorice.  She loves to eat and holds it well — a smart little kitten for sure.

Lebusa is a vegetarian cat with an affinity for millet.  Unlike Kitten Edana, this girl simply can’t stand sweets.

All My Lieschen Mueller dolls are machine washable on a gentle cycle, which makes the delicate purchase all the more appealing!  They stand about 21 inches tall, with narrow limbs and flexible bodies.  Great to tag along any childhood adventure — they’ll be competing with Barbie in no time!
