Fake a Stack of Wood Logs in Your Fireplace!

Stacked Wood Logs in a Fireplace

It’s kind of a silly stylist trick, but a stack of wood logs (birch, or another light wood) looks awfully pretty in a fireplace. What if you want to keep easy access to the firebox though? Stacking and unstacking them each time seems like a pain. There has to be an easier way!

Fireplace Log Screen

Actually, there is. But it will require a little more work up front. You can create a faux-stacked log screen that is easy to remove and pop back into place!

What an awesome-looking project, right? Get the instructions and all of the details over at Pepper Design Blog.
