Fashion Inspiration from a Nine Year Old? Yup.

Willow Smith Mini FashionistaThe newest fashion trendsetter for kids isn’t Justin Bieber or Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes. This fashionista and soon-to-be music star, is only nine years old.

This is Willow Smith, daughter of superstar Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and sister to the oh-so adorable actor, Jaden Smith. She’s got grace, style, wild haircuts and fashion savvy that certainly garners attention. Heck, I think I’m jealous!

If you haven’t heard about Willow Smith yet, you will.  Why? Well, she signed with Jay-Z’s new Roc Nation label and has recorded her first track called “Whip My Hair.”  The Rihanna-esque vocals are pretty impressive for a kiddo that’s not even into double digits yet.

I think most young girls will appreciate the simple message of her music. If you feel good, whip your hair around. Heck, I still like to that too!  “All my ladies if you feel it go on and do it / Do it with your hair / Don’t matter if it’s long, short / Do it do it with your hair / Whip your hair.” Okay, a little bit silly, but she’s only nine…

So how can you capture a version of Willow’s unique style for your little girls? Well, here are a few rocking looks for little girls. Call it G-rated Metallica? I’ve picked a few Willow-inspired items below that are perfect for Fall and the mini rocker chick, of course.
