I love the look of vintage prams. I noticed a lot of stylish families with these prams when I lived in Sweden so I was thrilled to find a company that makes new baby prams from the old designs. Find out the secret source, after the jump!
Silver Cross, has been making baby strollers since 1877 in England. To this day, their baby prams in their Heritage Collection are still handmade in Yorkshire, from the original designs. The strollers are lined in grey pinstripe and the wheels are detachable. They do way almost 80 pounds! Yikes! So I guess they are just for afternoon walks and not for hauling around in cars or on busses! The price tag? $2,995! Would you pay that much for a stroller? They also have a line of baby strollers for little girls to wheel their baby dolls around in!
Is this ridiculous or would you invest in a stroller like this to use for all your babies? Here are some vintage prams on Ebay that are a little more reasonably priced!
