These ideas are great!!! and i love the sunken Trampoline my son has been asking for one but i’m a little nervous with all the safety issues this may just sway me to try it for him.

  2. Brienne says:

I love these ideas but please be safe with the sunken trampoline. A child almost drown last week in our county because the hole under the trampoline filled with water. He was a toddler and he managed to slip under there accidentally. It’s a great idea just be sure to follow all instruction carefully on that one.

Love this post!!! Would love to have any of these in my backyard. Thanks for the great ideas…a lot of work ahead of me this summer :)

Fantastic ideas! I SO WANT THAT TRAMPOLINE!
    thanks for sharing!

  5. I love these gorgeous ideas. I’m especially obsessed with the in ground tramp. My kids have been begging for a trampoline, but didn’t know quite how to handle the getting on & off with my little guy with cerebral palsy- build a staircase with a platform? That might be bigger than our whole backyard. This is perfect!

Thanks for your input, Brienne-very important consideration. We’ll have to figure out some kind of drainage system…

Don’t you all wish you had a nest just like that when you were 6?

  6. Meagan says:

    Beautiful ideas
    and pictures!

The safety issue with trampolines is kids flipping on them. If a kid lands wrong during a flip, they can land on their neck and be paralyzed. Hair can get stuck in trampolines, further injuring the spinal cords.

  8. Carolyn says:

The skateboard ramp is wonderful. Kids love to do these things, so give them a way to do it safely at home. Invite their friends and you can keep an eye on your kids while they’re with their friends. Excellent post!

  9. Carolyn Gatzke says:

Beautiful photos of fantasy play spaces. Unachievable in most families. Lure us to sprinkler play, chalked hopscotch games, and lemonade stands.

  10. Lohasrus says:

    Trampoline! Every kid loves them!

  11. Brianna says:

How do I look up that Cabana Mezzanine Playhouse? I can’t seem to find it on that site anywhere and i’ve “translated” on google several different words.. do you have a direct link??

good ideas, really creative .If interested in crafts please check:http://bettyshimalayanhandicrafts.blogspot.com/

  14. Andria says:

Cool ideas, but a little bit of a stretch in my opinion. That cabana mezzanine? Those sides! How is that even remotely safe? For anyone, let alone kids?

  15. Lauren says:

Sunken trampoline works until someone jumps too high and lands head first (or even feet first) on hard ground rather than bouncy trampoline. I approve of the playhouses, though. Especially the gypsy wagon.
