Functional Greenhouse Made Entirely of LEGO Bricks

LEGO UK commissioned London-based designer, Sebastian Bergne, to create a fully functional LEGO greenhouse as part of the London Design Festival 2011. While the walls and floor are entirely made of LEGO bricks, the plants and vegetables growing inside are entirely real.

The greenhouse draws inspiration from Covent Garden's history as London's original fruit and vegetables market.

The greenhouse is located outside the iconic Market Building in the North Piazza, directly facing James Street.
